Calimo.  I wanted to put pen to paper to say a BIG thank you for the fabulous portrait you did of my horse. Being a 50th birthday my very dear friends were faced with the dilemma of marking this milestone with something spectacular that I would treasure for many years to come. Well, courtesy of you, they did just that! The portrait they commissioned you to do of my Spanish horse was overwhelming. Apart from his unusual colouring and his small caramel ears that you captured perfectly, I was left speechless (doesn’t happen very often!) by his eyes. The perfect shape of his eye lid was punctuated by a soft, enigmatic and spirited expression. Your portrait of him is truly amazing which is why I felt compelled to write to you. Thank you once again for making my birthday so very, very special.
